Murray expands lead over Rossi
OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) — Democratic incumbent Patty Murray has expanded her lead over Republican challenger Dino Rossi in the latest Washington state Senate vote totals.
With about two-thirds of the expected ballots counted Wednesday, Murray leads Rossi with about 51 percent to 49 percent of the vote. Her margin is about 26,000 votes out of more than 1.5 million counted so far in unofficial returns.
Officials predicted statewide turnout of about 2.4 million, and thousands of ballots still remain uncounted.
Washington’s vote-by-mail system leads to long vote counts because ballots can be submitted through Election Day.
County officials were expected to release more vote totals throughout Wednesday night.

We all pretty much knew this outcome when Dino was muscled in with his bucks. Didier would have been a more interesting race, however as it stands, 3 strikes and you are out.

Sorry…million left to count. Not buying a Rossi loss…he’s winning Piece Co. Spokane gave him a HUGE margin! With this much to count yet and only a 24K difference, it doesn’t look good. Rossi could pull this one off. King Co is critical…too bad they’re all fed by the PORK Murray brings. Murray had millions from the lobbies…millions from unions and millions from the DNC.
She spent more than Rossi by 2 to 1.
We’ll see what happens by Friday night.

“She spent more than ROSSI 2 to 1 ??? ” Both of the loosers were pulled from the same mold. I wish we had a viable third choice. The first and second choices are basically the same.Just in bed with different crooks. The money that both spent on smear advertising sickens me. Rossi had just as many adds sponsored by his crooks as Murray ran. The money spent on smear adds would have gone along ways twards feeding hungry folks living in their district. Time to go have a good HURL!

Good Luck Dino! Don’t let them cheat counting King County’s votes again.

This is an interesting page to find out the population of the different counties (at least the number of registered voters). Also the number of ballots counted so far and the estimated number left to count. Very informative.

Also you can click on the tabs at the top and find reasonably up-to-date election results. (At least, as up-to-date as the state website can manage…)

Dino you lost three times now, so will you for the love of god go away and drink your Rossi Whine and leave all of us alone!!!! so we can achieve the Progressive agenda, and make this state and nation a Progressive state, compared to your regressive state.

I, too, regretted having Rossi as the conservative choice.
But, it’s really hard to compete with the folks over in King county who’s only real job is to go to the polls every other year..
You know their motto, “Vote early, vote often.” And if that doesn’t work, “Keep counting ‘til the one with the D by the name wins.”

Geez, sounds like a lot of you sour grapes republican losers have been drinkin’ the water out of lead creek over in the Silver Valley, Oh I forgot they just let it run down the river to Spokane, but you know what they say over there, What’s a little lead, arsenic, zinc in our water we certainly don’t want that soclialistic EPA cleain’ up our water, while the criminal mining companies that put it there got the hell out of Dodge and then left the tax payers to pay for it, Wow, Welfare for Corporations, what a great republican Idea.
