Missing Bellingham boy found safe

A 2-year-old boy, the subject of an Amber Alert issued earlier this evening, has been found safe.

Benjamin Vallejo of Bellingham was in the care of a baby sitter when his father, Benjamin Vallejo Sr., entered the home and forcibly took the boy, police said.

The Bellingham Herald is reporting that the father and a female companion are being questioned by police.
