Man’s body found in burned mobile home

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office and Clark Fork, Idaho, fire personnel responding to a mobile home fire early Thursday found a man’s body inside. When the two agencies responded to the fire at 586 Cascade Creek Road in Clark Fork about 4 a.m., they found an older single-wide mobile home fully engulfed in flames. A deceased white male was inside the home. Police haven’t identified him, but hope to release his name today after the autopsy is complete. Authorities are treating it as a fire investigation only unless evidence suggests the cause is suspicious in nature, said Detective Sgt. Gary Johnson with the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office. “At this point it’s still under investigation,” he said. “We’re just looking at all the angles.”
