ACH blows by Panthers

Colin Deyarmin rushed for 204 yards and three touchdowns on eight carries and Derek Isaak added 197 rushing yards and three TDs as Almira/Coulee-Hartline (9-0) cruised to a 54-6 victory over visiting Cusick (9-1) in their District 7 1B play-in game Friday.

The Warriors chalked up 506 yards of total offense, including 464 rushing yards, en route to earning the No. 1 seed from District 7.

They will play Odessa-Harrington in a State 1B play-in game, with the winner advancing to the state playoffs. The Panthers will host Colton as the No. 2 seed.

Wilbur-Creston 32, Columbia-Inchelium 30: Jacob Struve’s 75-yard touchdown pass to Hayden Herdrick with 3:30 remaining set up a game-winning two-point conversion run by Cody Johns as the Wildcats (7-3) eliminated the Hornets (5-3), rallying in the fourth quarter in Hunters. The Wildcats forced two fourth-quarter fumbles by CI, including one following the go-ahead score.

WC will travel to Garfield-Palouse in one State 1B play-in game, while the Hornets play at St. John Endicott in another.

Odessa-Harrington 68, Wellpinit 32: The Titans (6-4) eliminated the Redskins (4-6) in their district game in Medical Lake. No other information was available.

State 1A play-in

Cashmere 27, Colville 7: Tyler McNair rushed for 187 yards and Kevin Kenoyer scored three rushing TDs as the Bulldogs (8-2) held the Indians (9-1) to a first-quarter touchdown, ending the Indians’ season in Colville. Sawyer Bardwell scored the TD for the Indians on a three-yard run in the opening quarter.

Omak 41, Lakeside 27: Brendan Aguilar threw for a pair of touchdowns and rushed for a third and Jose Diaz added a pair of rushing TDs as the Pioneers (6-3) jumped out to a 14-0 lead and held the rest of the way against the Eagles in Nine Mile Falls. Chad Brinkman led the Eagles with 153 passing yards, 37 rushing and three total TDs.

State 2B play-in

Colfax 47, Dayton 0: Tyler McNanny rushed for 172 yards and a TD and Alvin Li added 95 rushing yards and three total TDs as the Bulldogs (9-0) rolled to a win over Dayton (1-8) in Colfax. Alex Teade tallied 152 yards passing and three TDs for the Bulldogs, who held Dayton to 180 yards of offense.

The Bulldogs will play the winner of the game between Warden and Manson in the first round of the state playoffs.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 20, Asotin 16: Dylan Hartz caught the game-winning pass from Jake Eichner in the fourth quarter as the Broncos (7-2) beat the visiting Panthers (5-4) to advance to the state tournament. Eichner finished with 126 passing yards and a touchdown and Micah Brown added 188 yards rushing and a score for the Broncos.

Waitsburg-Prescott 42, Reardan 6: Kris Cady took the opening kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown and the Cardinals (10-0) kept on rolling against the Indians (5-4) in Waitsburg. Cady finished with 147 yards rushing and three rushing TDs for the Cardinals, while Zach Bartlow added 69 yards and a score.

DeSales 53, Springdale 14: The Irish (7-2) knocked off the Chargers (3-7) in Walla Walla. The Chargers were eliminated from the postseason with the loss.

Nonleague

North Central 41, West Valley (Yakima) 34: Jon Stratton rushed for 208 yards and tallied two touchdowns on 22 carries to lead the Indians (3-7) to a win in their season finale against the Rams (2-8) in Yakima. Zac Hill added 223 yards passing and three TDs for the Indians, hitting Jake Hoffman 10 times for 137 yards and a pair of TDs.

Sunnyside 27, Shadle Park 21: The Grizzlies (4-6) defeated the Highlanders (1-9) in their crossover game in Sunnyside. No other information was available.

Chewelah 29, Cascade 14: Calvin Connall finished with 143 yards rushing and a touchdown and Nick Naccarato led the defense with four interceptions as the Cougars (6-4) ended a three-game losing streak with a win in their final game of the season against the Kodiaks (3-6) in Chewelah.

Okanogan 24: Freeman 16: Joe Townsend threw for 281 yards and a touchdown and the Bulldogs (5-5) opened up a 10-point halftime lead against the Scotties (5-5) with 18 consecutive points in Freeman. Cameron Duckett finished with 64 yards rushing and a touchdown for the Scotties in his final game.

Newport 27, Tonasket 13: Keith Coulson carried the ball 18 times for 134 yards and two TDs to lead the Grizzlies (3-6) to a win in their season finale against the Tigers (3-6) in Newport. Travis Martin added 70 passing yards and a TD for the Grizzlies.

Selkirk 42, Northport 6: Mike Deewey rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns and Kelan Sax added 64 yards rushing and two scores as the Rangers (4-6) ended their season with a convicting win over the Mustangs (1-7) in Kettle Falls.

Tekoa-Oakesdale/Rosalia 17, Kettle Falls 14: Earl Gaines tallied 149 rushing yards and scored the eventual game-winning touchdown as the Nighthawks (4-6) defeated the Bulldogs (2-8) in Kettle Falls. Brandon Thomas finished with 108 rushing yards and a touchdown in the loss for KF.

Liberty 20, Tri-Cities Prep 17: George Canning rushed for 112 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Lancers (4-5) to a victory over the Jaguars (3-6) in their season finale in Pasco. Zach Kunkel added 57 rushing yards with a score for the Lancers.
