Montana State Bobcats win, tie for first

Denarius McGhee threw for 325 yards and a touchdown and Orenzo Davis rushed for 114 yards and two scores as Montana State kept pace atop the Big Sky Conference with a mistake-filled 24-10 victory over Weber State on Saturday in Bozeman.

McGhee threw a 13-yard TD pass to Tanner Bleskin with 10:03 to play, sparking a 21-point final quarter for the Bobcats, who are tied for first in the conference with Eastern Washington.

Cameron Higgins was 23 for 32 for 229 yards before leaving with an injury late in the fourth quarter and Vaingamalie Tafuna scored on a 16-yard run for the Wildcats.

Davis gained a large chunk of his yardage on a 40-yard TD scamper late in the game, helping MSU overcome three lost fumbles and a missed field goal.

Sacramento State 28, Portland State 15: Jeff Fleming threw for 240 yards and three TDs and the Hornets beat the Vikings in Sacramento, Calif.

Cory McCaffrey rushed for 187 yards and a TD for PSU.

Northern Arizona 21, Northern Colorado 14: Zach Bauman ran for 105 yards and two TDs as the Lumberjacks beat the Bears in Greeley, Colo.

Bauman had his fifth 100-yard game of the season for NAU, which ended a two-game skid.

Georgia 55, Idaho State 7: Aaron Murray threw three TD passes in the second quarter, including two to A.J. Green, and the Bulldogs overwhelmed the Bengals in Athens, Ga.

ISU suffered its eighth straight loss this season and 26th consecutive road loss, a streak that began in 2006.
