Lookout Pass Ski Area will open Friday
Lookout Pass Ski Area will open Friday – the first ski area to announce an opening this season in the Inland Northwest.
The slopes have 8 to 10 inches of new snow overnight, with more coming down today, the ski area said in a news release. Base depths are 12 to 20 inches.
Lookout Pass is located along Interstate 90 at the Idaho/Montana state line.
The majority of the front side of the mountain will be open with top-to-bottom skiing and riding off Chair 1 plus the beginner area, Lookout said.

Reduced ticket rates will be in effect.
After Sunday, Lookout will reopen on Thanksgiving Day and continue through next weekend.
