Put some thought into winter driving

Well it’s not officially winter yet, but tell the slick roads that.

People think because they have winter tires, tires with studs and siped tires they can go, go, go. When you have chains on, try stopping fast when you are driving too fast on them.

I’ve driven all over the country driving for major trucking companies and have seen crazy accidents because of speed and driving too fast for conditions. Think about this: After you hit someone because you couldn’t stop in time, was it worth it? You will still get there even if you drive slower and give yourself some extra time. What if you injure a little kid or kill someone because you were driving like an idiot.

If you don’t have to be driving somewhere when the weather is bad, then stay home. It’s better than the hospital.
