Scans a tiny sacrifice

I read and listen, with interest, to all the consternation about pat-downs and scanners at the airports. While I admittedly haven’t flown in a while and don’t plan to either, I would hope that if I did and while I was having to choose between being scanned or patted down (scan, please) and I was uncomfortable with the process, I would keep in mind the idea that if we can send our military over to fight and die to keep our country safe, then we should be able to tolerate this small sacrifice in comparison.

And to all you people who plan to disrupt other people’s Thanksgiving plans by protesting, I hope you remember just how much we are disrupting our military’s Thanksgiving with their families.

Just a thought.
