Prep roundup: Livingston lifts Tigers past NC

Jeff Livingston wasn’t perfect, but he was more than efficient.

The Lewis and Clark quarterback passed for 213 yards, completing 13 of 18 with two touchdowns, as the Tigers handled the North Central Indians 42-7 in a Greater Spokane League football game Thursday night at Joe Albi Stadium.

The Tigers (2-3) opened a 28-0 lead by halftime. LC running back Ammar Johnson had two TDs.

Running back John Stratton carried the load for the Indians (2-3), finishing with 86 yards on 14 carries.

Boys soccer

Inland Empire League: Adam Borshiem’s goal at 50 minutes allowed visiting Coeur d’Alene (9-2-2, 4-1-1) to tie Lake City at 1. Chris Wheelock of the Timberwolves (7-3-2, 2-2-1) scored in the 42nd minute. … Elsewhere, Nathan White scored at 38 minutes as 5A Post Falls (11-1-1) recorded a 2-1 win at 4A Moscow (5-6). … Gabe Johnson finished with two goals and two assists while leading 5A Lewiston (2-8) to a 7-1 win over visiting 4A Lakeland (2-12).

Girls soccer

Great Northern League: Amanda Bliesner scored a pair of second-half goals to give East Valley (6-4, 4-1) a 2-0 win at Clarkston (0-6, 0-4). … Elsewhere, Annalisa Druffel scored the first goal and assisted on the final one, and Hannah Adams had two assists to lead Pullman (6-1-1, 4-1) to a 4-0 win at West Valley (3-4-1, 3-2). … Luci Scott scored twice as host Cheney (3-6, 3-1) posted a 5-0 win over Deer Park (2-4, 1-3).

Cross country

GNL: Cheney’s boys and girls swept a three-way meet against East Valley and host Medical Lake. Cheney’s girls finished 1-2-3, led by Sanne Holland (20 minutes for 3 miles). EV’s Cody Edwards (17:06) won the boys race by 8 seconds over Cheney’s Nash Springberry.
