Bike expenditure wasteful

As a bike enthusiast myself, I wonder how our federal government can spend $600,000 creating bike paths in downtown Spokane. It is no wonder our country is heading toward bankruptcy.

With our five months of bicycle-riding weather, and the fact that people going to work downtown don’t normally have shower facilities, it is a total waste of money.

Remember, the government has no money. It is our money.
