Spokane teen shot in both legs

Tue., Oct. 5, 2010, 7:45 a.m.

A 19-year-old man was shot in both legs early today, and Spokane police said they are searching for two men who were involved in the incident.

The victim was taken to a Spokane hospital following the 12:30 a.m. incident, officers said.

The incident, at Sharp Avenue and Hamilton Street, stemmed from an argument involving a group of four men in which one of the men pulled a handgun and fired at the victim.

An effort to apprehend the gunman was not successful. The case is being referred to police detectives for further investigation.
