Bomb hoax closes Moses Lake school

MOSES LAKE – The bomb scare that closed a school in Moses Lake for the day was a hoax. The Columbia Basin Herald reported that a threatening call early Tuesday led police to find what looked like either dynamite sticks or road flares taped together and placed under playground equipment at Larson Heights Elementary School. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said a Richland police bomb squad determined it was a hoax.
