Bishop will attend Poor Man’s Meal

 

The Most Rev. Blase Cupich, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Spokane, will attend his first Poor Man’s Meal at the House of Charity this Sunday.

The annual fundraising event at Catholic Charities shelter is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Minestrone soup, rolls and cobbler will be served.

Last year, House of Charity, 32 W. Pacific Ave., provided social services to 2,432 homeless and low-income people.
