Semi-truck driver, passenger arrested

The Spokesman-Review

Washington State Patrol arrested a semi-truck driver and his passenger Thursday night after a road rage incident occurred on Trent Avenue near the state line.

The passenger pulled out a handgun and put it to the chest of another semi-truck driver.

The two suspects got back into the semi-truck and drove off. The victim followed them in his own truck and both semis stopped on Euclid Avenue, just east of Sullivan Road.

Police found two guns in a search of the suspect’s semi.

The passenger was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and the driver for obstruction of justice. The incident was still under investigation late Thursday. The names of the suspects were not released.
