Alternative to cronyism

Bonnie Mager has been the only light at the end of the tunnel on the Spokane County Commission for four years.

No, she doesn’t pound her chest for the news media; make long-winded, blustery oratories; get in personal squabbles with the sheriff; or explain away a multitude of poor decisions, like her fellow commissioners must do. She just uses common sense, logically arrives at the best solution and brings stability to chaos.

In her world, the taxpayer is boss, not developers. In her world, keeping deputies on the street and necessary county services in operation is vital, not pouring taxpayer money into racetracks or wasting dollars defending her two fellow commissioners’ illegal land-use decisions.

Four years ago, the community begged for an alternative to the Three Amigos. Bonnie stepped up. Her honesty and vision is just as important now as it was then. Send the Republican-run, pro-cronyism Spokesman-Review editorial staff a message that they’re out of touch with our community – and vote for Bonnie.
