Plummer pair hurt in U.S. 95 collision

An Idaho driver and her 12-year-old passenger were hurt on Thursday evening when another driver made a sudden u-turn on U.S. Highway 95 near the Coeur d’Alene Casino south of Coeur d’Alene. Bernadine C. Twoteeth, 33, of Plummer, and her passenger, Deannette T. Dominique-White, were treated for injuries at Kootenai Medical Center and later released, according to Idaho State Police. They were headed north on U.S. 95 in a 2007 Chrysler Sebring when they collided with a 1995 Saturn SL driven by Lowell Compton, 75, of Weippe, who was not injured. Compton made a u-turn in front of Twoteeth, police said.
