School experience vital

As an educator and parent, I am writing in support of Dr. Stan Olson’s candidacy for Idaho’s superintendent of public instruction.

Having worked as a teacher in Idaho for over 20 years, I have seen our schools increasingly struggle to do more with less. It is time for school leadership to come from an experienced educator; Dr. Olson will bring more than 40 years of experience as a classroom teacher, principal and superintendent to this position, as leader of our public schools.

Our children don’t need a politician or businessman as their lead educator; they need someone who understands the challenges our schools face, someone with experience in the field. Dr. Olson will work with all stakeholders to bring their voices to the table to ensure that education for our children is a top priority in Idaho. Please vote for Dr. Stan Olson on Nov. 2.
