Eight kids hurt when climbing wall falls

LAKESIDE, Mont. – A climbing wall collapse at a northwestern Montana church camp sent eight children to area hospitals with broken bones and heavy bruising, officials said.

Glacier Camp and Conference Center Interim Director Steve Edwards said the collapse occurred about 10 a.m. Saturday at the camp next to Flathead Lake.

Adults had to lift the 8-foot-tall wall off two children after it fell, Edwards said.
