Meditations for Heart and Mind – On-going meditation class teaches mindfulness meditation as well as the heart practices of loving, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion, which calm the mind and open the heart. Each evening includes guided 30-minute meditation, dharma talk (topic of the evening) with time for discussion. All levels of experience welcome. Stretch and Flex Classes – Six-week session combines Pilates, Yoga, body conditioning, light cardio, and basic stretching and focuses on body awareness, flexibility, range of motion, core strength, balance, and stability while improving overall muscle tone. Breastfeeding Basics – Designed to help mothers have their most successful breastfeeding experience. Participants learn about positions, solving common problems and returning to work or school. Babysitting Basics – For youth ages 10-15 to prepare them with the skills they need to be a successful babysitter. Class covers topics such as: how to care for infants, toddlers and older children; CPR and first aid for infants and children; discipline issues; safety; and business basics.
