Matthew Brown reported Saturday the $700 theft of a laptop computer from his home on the 1800 block of Jenny Lynn Lane.

Douglas Lenius reported Friday the $425 theft of a rifle from his 1994 Mazda pickup parked at his home on the 900 block of West Emma Avenue.

John Caracciolo reported Friday the $400 theft of a stereo from a 1998 Lincoln Continental parked at his home on the 3400 block of North Sixth Street.

Maryam Gossage reported Wednesday the $100,770 theft of jewelry and cash from her home on the 2700 block of North Howard Street.

Debra Riordan reported Saturday the $1,675 theft of a purse containing cash and credit cards from her 1998 Volkswagen parked on the 3700 block of North 22nd Street and $44.49 theft of goods and services when unauthorized charges were made to her bank account.

Kootenai County sheriff

Jeremy Wade, employee of Smokestack Landscape Supply, reported Saturday the $1,945 theft of cash, a copy machine, computer equipment, and microwave oven from the business at 866 S. Spokane St., in Post Falls.
