Special price for cats through Saturday

The Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service has taken in more than 30 cats since Monday and is asking the public to help find homes for cats. “We are so full right now our isolation room is being used as an adoption holding area,” said Cindy Taskila, SCRAPS kennel manager. “For only the price of a pet license, you can adopt a wonderful new companion cat.” All cats will be available for adoption for $15 through Saturday. Cat adoption fees at SCRAPS are normally more than $60. The cats will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, licensed and will receive a free health exam.
