Otter has shown courage

I am writing in support of Butch Otter for governor.

First, I am grateful for his courage to protect Idahoans’ rights to continue to make their own life choices in matters such as health care.

Secondly, in these times when few of our country’s leaders seem to be concerned about being fiscally responsible, we can be proud that we have a governor not willing to go the same route as the rest, but willing to make the cuts necessary to balance the budget. Many are saying Gov. Otter is only making cuts in education; yet, as a state employee, I have seen many state jobs cut and raises withheld for years. We must all be willing to share the burden. It’s the right thing to do.

I hope you’ll join me in re-electing Gov. Otter.
