CdA dog park opening slated for Labor Day
The city of Coeur d’Alene’s first off-leash dog park, Central Bark, will open Labor Day.
The project was an effort by the Kootenai County Dog Park Association, city of Coeur d’Alene and Coeur d’Alene School District. The park is next to Northshire Park at the corner of Atlas and Nez Perce roads.
The park will be dedicated at noon Monday in a public event that will include a barbecue and other activities. The name was selected by the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission after the dog park group solicited names, a news release from the city said.
