Arkansas man killed in Interstate 90 crash

From Staff And Wire Reports

An Arkansas man died early Sunday after driving into a median divider on Interstate 90 at Post Falls and crashing into the guardrail, police said.

Russell T. Plott, 39, of Texarkana, Ark., died at the scene of the wreck, at eastbound mile marker 2 near the Pleasant View Road exit.

The Idaho State Police said Plott was headed east at about 3:30 a.m. when he failed to make a right-hand curve on the freeway, drove into the median divider, and struck the end of a metal guardrail. Plott, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the 1990 Subaru Legacy, police said.
