Two found dead following weekend motorcycle crash
A missing couple involved in a Hayden Lake motorcycle accident were found dead Monday evening, Kootenai County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Virginia L. Acker, 64, of Pasco, and Gary E. Otterness, 40, of Onalsaska, Wash., were found about 100 feet down an embankment from the scene of the accident. The location was Hayden Lake Road near Rhapsody Lane.
On Monday, sheriff’s department rescue crews, as well as a helicopter from Spokane County, searched several roads around Hayden Lake for the missing couple.
The couple left Camp Mivoden on Saturday and were expected back sometime Saturday night.
