The weekend is shaping up to be partly sunny in much of the Inland Northwest, reports the National Weather Service.
Today’s high in Spokane should be around 68 degrees, with the high on Saturday estimated to reach 70 and 72 on Sunday.
In Coeur d’Alene, highs are expected to be 67 today, 71 on Saturday and 73 on Sunday.
A slight chance of rain is forecast near the British Columbia border on Saturday. The weather service says Northport, Ione and Bonners Ferry have a 20 percent chance of rain. On Sunday, the slight possibility of precipitation extends further south to towns including Colville, Newport and Sandpoint.
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene and expected to remain mostly sunny or partly sunny at least through the middle of next week, according to the weather service.
