Cougar football game a no-show on Spokane cable
Saturday’s Washington State-Montana State game was supposed to show up on Fox Sports Northwest’s alternate channel, but not so for cable viewers in Spokane.
FSN gave this explanation to Washington State officials, who passed it on to us:
It was raining so hard in Crawford, Texas, where they route the signal, that while they could get the signal in, they couldn’t send it out.

I don’t buy the explanation. I have Fox on DISH and caught the whole game with a five minute “technical error” at the end of the first half. This was a Comcast problem. Good luck finding anyone there that cares.

I’d never argue with healthy skepticism, but so you know, Dish and Comcast have different feeds from Fox. One worked, the other didn’t. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who was at fault because fans were disappointed, and the engineers tell me we’ve learned from the experience.
