Term limits for all

Citizens, why is there no movement within the U.S. to promote term limits on all politicians? If the president has a term limit, why don’t all politicians? Just the thought of anyone being able to make a “career” in politics is disgusting. They are supposed to serve their country, not themselves.

How many people get to control their own pay raises, retirement benefits and many other “perks” we don’t even know about? Supposedly, “we the people” can’t even find out what their retirement benefits are even though we are paying it? We have too many lifers with way too much power in our governments. We should create term limits and force these politicians who seem to go nuts shortly after being elected, forgetting why they ran in the first place, to represent the people who voted for them.

Let’s start a movement to get this done on our watch. The future is not ours unless we do something to take it back from “career politicians.”
