Fallen Leaf run planned for Oct. 2 at Mirabeau Point

The Northwest Infant Survival and SIDS Alliance (NISSA) will host the 28th annual “Fallen Leaf Run,” a 5K family fun run, on Oct. 2 at Mirabeau Point Park in Spokane Valley, beginning at 9 a.m. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.

The fun run will benefit Sudden Unexpected Infant Death and Sudden Infant Death Syndrome awareness, education and research.

Early entry before Tuesday is $20 and includes a long sleeve T-shirt. Registration the day of the run cost $25. Shirts may not be available. Participants who raise $50 or more will have their entry fee waived and will be entered to win a prize. Children younger than 12 can participate at no cost.
