Palouse Highway crash victim dies
An 18-year-old woman injured in a car crash on the Palouse Highway early Saturday has died.
Tiffani Lewis, of Waverly, Wash., was pronounced dead early Monday, a Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center spokesman said Tuesday.
Lewis’ boyfriend, 18-year-old Levi Larrison of Fairfield, died at the scene of the single-car crash early Saturday; Lewis was rushed by helicopter to Sacred Heart.
Larrison was driving a 1999 Subaru when the car left the highway near Dunn Road and smashed into a tree, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Emergency crews learned of the crash at 1:04 a.m. on Saturday.
