Collision closes part of Highway 41

 

A multiple-vehicle collision in Post Falls injured two people Thursday and closed the intersection of state Highway 41 at Prairie Avenue for more than an hour.

The Idaho State Police are investigating the 2:08 p.m. crash and has not yet determined who was at fault, according to a news release.

Injured were Dereck E. Collinson, 29, and 41-year-old Janelle R. Russell, both of Rathdrum. Also involved in the crash were 47-year-old Lisa C. Warner, of Spirit Lake, and 54-year-old Cheryl L. Bauman, of Rathdrum.

Each person was driving a different vehicle in the chain-reaction rear-end collision. Warner and Bauman were not injured, according to the news release.
