California man killed in early Friday crash
A California man was killed around 2:15 this morning while traveling “at a high rate of speed” on state Highway 41 in Oldtown, the Idaho State Police reported.
Dwayne Madden, 39, of Whittier, Calif., drove off the west shoulder of Highway 41 near the southern city limits of Oldtown and hit several signs and trees, the ISP said. His 2005 Cadillac overturned several times before landing on its top in the yard of a home.
Madden was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash is under investigation.
