No Spokane cancellations from Southwest incident

None of the 79 airplanes Southwest Airlines pulled from service Saturday flew routes to or from Spokane, said Spokane International Airport spokesman Todd Woodard. Still, passengers in Spokane were experiencing some delays as cancellations and delays elsewhere cascaded, he added.

Woodard said Spokane routes are not serviced by the 737-300, the airplane model that experienced cabin decompression Friday during a flight from Phoenix to Sacramento after a hole opened in the fuselage.

Doesn`t sound right to me. I arrived at Spokane from Orange county stopping at Las Vegas and the flight was delayed in Las Vegas almost 2 hours. The reason for the delay told to the passengers who were going to continue on to Spokane, was the flight crew had not shown up and flight 3206 had to sit on the plane and wait. Stale air, very warm, and kids screaming were held on the plane. Dumb down the passengers by not telling the truth regarding the reason for the delay.
