Tell us what you think about ‘Pickles’

It’s time to tell us what you think about “Pickles.”

The strip about a retired couple navigating their not-always-golden years has been running on our daily comics page over the past week in place of “Get Fuzzy.” It’s the first of several strips we’ll be testing in that spot over the next few months.

Because we’ve been running “Pickles” in our Sunday comics since late 2008, many of you already are familiar with it. So we’re opening reader voting on it this week.

To cast your vote, you can leave a message on our comics hotline, (509) 459-3814, or email comics@spokesman.com.

Rate “Pickles” on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 meaning you would never read it, and 5 meaning you would read it every day. Also state your age and gender, to give us a better idea what types of readers it appeals to.

Of course, only one vote per person, please – though you can include scores from other family members.

We’ll begin voting next week on “Off the Mark,” the first new panel we’ve been testing in place of “6 Chix,” to give readers more time to become familiar with it. No votes for it will be accepted until then.

And thanks again for your help.
