Accident details in error

A blind man who was killed by a commercial-style bus was approaching the vehicle when the bus brakes let out and the vehicle ran him over. Because of incorrect information provided to the newspaper, the circumstances of the accident were incorrect in a story on A5 Tuesday.

Ouattara vote correction

Alassane Ouattara received 54 percent of the vote in the presidential election in Ivory Coast in November. His share of the vote was misstated in a story from the Los Angeles Times in Tuesday’s newspaper.
