Housing impact misrepresented

I have no dog in the fight over the proposed St. John Vianney zone change, other than occasionally driving through that neighborhood on the way to or from businesses on Sprague. However, I think that Gary Graupner’s characterization of the proposed senior housing as a “megacomplex” (Letters, April 17) is quite a stretch.

This is, unfortunately, typical of the exaggeration and fear-mongering language used by NIMBYs everywhere. In my own opinion, the addition of a few dozen seasoned citizens to that neighborhood would be a positive development, not a negative one.
