Body found in Green River identified
SEATTLE (AP) — The King County medical examiner’s office says the woman whose body was pulled from the Green River last Friday was 84-year-old Leah McHugo.
The Seattle Times says the woman had been living at an assisted living facility in Auburn. Police there say her walker was found at a park near the Green River.
Authorities say McHugo told friends on Friday morning she was going for a walk. She was reported missing on Saturday.
Sheriff’s Sgt. John Urquhart says investigators don’t think the woman was a victim of foul play.
