Motorcyclist dies in collision with deer

A motorcyclist died 4:51 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 95 in Naples, Idaho, after hitting a deer.
George Kirk, 64, of Moyie Springs, Idaho, was declared dead at the scene, according to an Idaho State Patrol news release.
Another motorist, Wayne Wilkerson, 46, of Naples, was southbound on Highway 95 in a Dodge pickup when he struck the deer with the left side of his bumper, the news release said. The roadway was blocked for about three hours. Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the accident.
