Heavy commute, accident slow I-90 to crawl
Westbound traffic on Interstate 90 in Spokane came to a standstill this morning from a combination of heavy traffic and a collision near the Hamilton Street interchange.
Traffic cameras showed stop-and-go traffic coming into downtown, with through traffic backed up at the start of a construction project west of Maple Street.
The Washington State Patrol reported that an accident at Hamilton contributed to the traffic jam that continued past 9:30 a.m.
