Padden abundantly qualified

I want a state senator who knows what he is doing and is strongly connected to the 4th District.

Mike Padden has lived in the same home for 33 years. In an ordinary neighborhood, he and his wife raised five sons. He was self-employed as an attorney in private practice for over 21 years and knows how to build and maintain a business.

He knows the problems that onerous taxes and regulations create for businesses. He was a citizen-legislator for 14 years. Most of the year he worked at his law practice, but for several months every year moved his family with him to Olympia.

For 12 years he served as a District Court judge, seeing firsthand how the laws passed in Olympia are implemented and impact individual citizens. This has given Padden a unique perspective that few legislators have. He has volunteered for years with the Spokane American Legion Baseball organization, providing wonderful experiences and opportunities for high-school-age boys to gain athletic and life skills. He also volunteers with Meals on Wheels, helping those in need in our community.

I cast my vote for Mike Padden, who is strongly connected to our community and has the life experiences to make a fine senator.
