5th District lucky

Eastern Washington is lucky to have a member of Congress that works nonstop for local interests. As a political independent, I’m proud of Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ leadership and constant focus on her constituents from Washington’s 5th District.

Accusations that Cathy is unwilling to meet with her constituents are absolutely baseless. I have personally been in both small and large forums where the congresswoman sat with open ears as her supporters and critics alike shared their views.

Our country is facing some serious decisions, and as our elected leaders sort through an array of competing interests to move us forward, I’m comfortable knowing that our congresswoman is both principled and compassionate.

I’m proud that Cathy is the highest-ranking woman in the U.S. House of Representatives, but I’m even more proud of her unwavering advocacy for Eastern Washington.
