College roundup: Huskies down Vandals in women’s basketball
Regina Rogers scored 27 points and pulled down 14 rebounds as visiting Washington beat Idaho 66-49 in women’s basketball Wednesday night in Moscow.
Stacy Barr scored 11 points for the Vandals (2-5). Keri Arendse hit three 3-pointers and had nine points.
The Huskies (4-2) outscored the Vandals 34-14 in the paint and outrebounded them 50-37. UW shot 40 percent, Idaho 27.8.
• Gonzaga’s Kayla Standish has been named to the Naismith Trophy preseason watch list. The list will be culled to 30 players in February before four finalists are named in March.

The Warriors (23-4) are 2-0 in pool play and guaranteed a spot in the 12-team single-eliminiation bracket.
