Spokane Chiefs lose 1-0 despite shots edge

Cam Braes scored on the power play at 12:02 of the third period for the only goal of the game as the Lethbridge Hurricanes beat the Spokane Chiefs 1-0 on Sunday in Western Hockey League action in Lethbridge, Alberta.

The Chiefs (13-8-2-2, 30 points) couldn’t find the back of the net despite outshooting the Hurricanes 38-18 and having two penalty shots in the third period. It was the second time this season Spokane has been shut out.

The Chiefs finished their five-game swing through Alberta 2-2-1, and end their season-long six-game road trip Friday night in Everett.
