Larry Dean Flanigan, Jr. (Bonner County Sheriff's Office)
Two were hospitalized after a shooting in Bonner County about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Larry Dean Flanigan Jr., 19, was charged with two counts of aggravated battery and three counts of aggravated assault in connection with the shooting, according to the Bonner County Sheriff’s Office. One juvenile and one adult suffered non life-threatening injuries and were treated at Bonner General Hospital and released to family. Authorities say the altercation began after a high school basketball game. Several adults and a juvenile exchanged a series of threatening text messages and the situation escalated when the group arrived at Flanigan’s home in Clark Fork. After a verbal exchange, authorities say Flanigan fired one shotgun round at the group’s vehicle, striking two occupants with birdshot BBs. Flanigan’s bond was set at $100,000.
