Shoshone County man charged with lewd behavior
Bond has been set at $250,000 for a Kingston, Idaho, man charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious behavior with a 5-year-old girl.
Reid Louis Yergler, 19, is being held at the Shoshone County jail. The felony carries a maximum penalty of life in prison, said Shoshone County Prosecutor Val Siegel.
Siegel said he will seek a special prosecutor for the case due to his professional relationship with Yergler’s father, Gary Yergler, a Kellogg police officer.
Gary Yergler ran for Shoshone County sheriff in 2008 but was defeated by Sheriff Mitch Alexander. Reid Yergler also is the nephew of Shoshone County Commissioner Larry Yergler.

No, Shaded, you are wrong. Unfortunately, child molestation can be found in all socio economic groups, all ethnic/racial groups, and all geographic/state lines…sadly…

Shaded - Don’t be an idiot. Like Justice said, sick minded individuals are everywhere. Here’s an example from Washington:

Ordinarily I’d jump to the same conclusions others have, but given the politics involved, and given what I have seen of Val Siegel’s prosecutions, I’m withholding judgment. Mr. Siegel seems to have a near-obsession with anything related to sex. Time after time he has pushed sex cases with unusual aggressiveness only to have them fall apart shortly before the trial, after much anguish and expense to the accused. I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the same thing happens this time — no physical evidence, no competent witnesses, procedural errors, etc. His enthusiasm for prosecuting sex cases, no matter how thin the evidence, reminds me of the infamous Wenatchee sex abuse cases. Maybe he’s finally gotten himself a class A stinky-finger pervert here who needs to be locked away in prison, but given Mr. Siegel’s history, and given the Yerglers’ relationship with the county government and sheriff’s department, I have my doubts.

So, lightweight prosecutor Val Siegel will pass it to the prosecutor misconduct riddled office of Barry McHugh, who will pass it off to Mr.Flush It Lewis Marshall of Sandpoint. End of case.
