Greg Tudor, seen with his dog Mattie, wrote a letter to the Kittitas County Planning Department protesting proposed turbines.

Harland Radomske is among those opposed to having wind turbines erected on the hills behind his home and ranch in the Kittitas Valley. “I’m a four-week wind farm expert. I didn’t know anything about them until this hit like a ton of bricks, but I do know how to organize and get things done,” said the 73-year-old retired engineering contractor and rodeo champion. He owns a 1,000-acre horse and cattle ranch, Venture Farms, in Kittitas County.

Harland Radomske points out a proposed boundary change near his ranch. “They were talking about a line on the map, but we knew there was a wind farm right behind it,” he said.
