Martin guides Titans past Vikings

Zech Martin made 6 of 9 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 28 points as the University Titans (4-0) beat the Coeur d’Alene Vikings 73-61 in a nonleague game at University High School on Saturday night. Martin buried 9 of 13 shots from the floor.

Deon Watson had a team-high 18 points for Coeur d’Alene (1-1).

Pullman 53, Lewiston 43: Corey Langerveld had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead the Greyhounds (2-1) past the host Bengals (2-3). Austin Drake added 14 for Pullman.

Sandpoint 37, Pasco 33: Ryan Schwartz scored 12 points as Sandpoint (2-4) held off Pasco for third place at the Pendleton Tournament in Pendleton, Ore. Jackson Olin and Trevor Litzell added eight points apiece for Sandpoint.

West Valley 68, Toppenish 59: Jordan Gassman scored a game-high 22 points to lead the visiting Eagles (3-0) to a win over the Wildcats. Jake Love added 16 points and Brandon Davis chipped in 12 for West Valley.

Lakeside (WA) 55, St. George’s 50: The Eagles’ dominating second-quarter effort was enough to get past the Dragons at Nine Mile Falls. Cody Watkins had 19 points and Conner Moffatt added 15 for the Eagles (2-2). Mark Kenney led the Dragons (2-1) with 16 points.

Medical Lake 43, Riverside 36: Ismael Teshome scored 12 points and Adam Paulson added 11 as the Cardinals (1-4) beat the host Rams (1-5). Jordan Wood led Riverside with 13 points.

Northwest Christian 79, Chewelah 56: Kwinn Hanson exploded for 37 points on 16-of-22 shooting as the Crusaders (5-0) routed the visiting Cougars (3-2). Hanson made most of his shots right near the basket. Ben Johnson led Chewelah with 17 points.

Valley Christian 48, Coeur d’Alene Charter 37: Craver Small scored 16 points and Nick Cox added eight points and 11 rebounds as Valley Christian (4-0) beat visiting Coeur d’Alene Charter (2-3). Bryan Smith led Coeur d’Alene Charter with nine points.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 78, Kittitas 30: The Warriors (1-0) dominated from the outset and routed the host Coyotes. Derek Isaak had 20 points and nine assists for ACH.

Bi-County 2B

Reardan 67, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 43: The visiting Indians (1-1, 1-0) took advantage of a poor-shooting Broncos (2-3, 0-2) team. Lind-Ritzville/Sprague attempted 20 3-pointers and made just one. Trevor Peone led Reardan with 17 points.

Panorama League

Selkirk 68, Inchelium 31: Avery Miller, Nick Gardner and Dominic Cain combined to score 54 of the Rangers (1-5, 1-1) 68 points in a win over the host Hornets (0-4, 0-2). Miller had 19, Gardner had 18 and Cain added 17.

Northport 46, Republic 21: Jeremiah Johnson had 18 points, eight rebounds, four assists and four steals as the Mustangs (5-1, 2-0) beat the visiting Tigers (0-5, 0-2).

Cusick 62, Columbia 54: Alex Bluff tossed in a game-high 29 points and Ryan Sample added 19 as the Panthers (3-1, 3-0) beat the Lions (1-3, 1-1) in Hunters. Bluff and Sample combined to make five 3-pointers in the third quarter. Dominick Marquez led Columbia with 17 points.

Wellpinit 90, Curlew 20: Greg Wynecoop scored 17 points and the Redskins (2-1, 2-0) dominated the visiting Cougars (1-4, 0-2). A.J. Kieffer added 16 points and 11 rebounds and Kyle McCrea chipped in 16 points for Wellpinit.

Southeast 1B League

Garfield-Palouse 41, Tekoa-Oakesdale 39: Tyson Lowley hit two free throws in the final minute to give the Vikings (1-3, 1-0) a win over the visiting Nighthawks (0-5, 0-2). Tekoa-Oakesdale had a chance at the end, but its final shot was off. Nathan Cocking led Gar-Pal with 19 points and Marcus Pluff had 13 for the Knighthawks.

Colton 70, LaCrosse-Washtucna 36: Dustin Patchen scored 22 points and Jake Straughan added 15 as the Wildcats (3-0, 2-0) routed the visiting Tigercats (1-1, 0-1). Matt Stubbs led the Tigercats with seven points.

St. John-Endicott 62, Touchet 37: Dakota White scored 15 points and Cole McCanna added 14 as the Eagles (3-0, 2-0) used a strong start to whip the visiting Indians (1-2, 0-2). Eric Hines’ 15 points paced Touchet.

Rosalia 68, Pomeroy 61: Craig Nelson scored 21 points and Damian Loucks added 18 as the Spartans (3-1, 2-0) clipped the host Pirates (1-3, 0-2). Mitch Ruchert led Pomeroy with 17 points.
