Idaho Gov. Butch Otter held no elected office from 1977 to 1987; an article on page A8 Friday didn’t note that period when detailing Otter’s various elective offices.
Hecla fines not yet levied
Executives with Hecla Mining Co. have said penalties in a fatal mining accident in April could approach $1 million, but those fines have not yet been levied; a story on page A1 Friday mischaracterized the status of the fines.
