C.J. Skillingstad’s bucket with 15 seconds left proved to be the difference as Cheney clipped Okanogan 54-53 in overtime in a nonleague game Saturday night in Cheney.
The Bulldogs’ shot at the buzzer was no good.
Eric Igbinoba scored 16 points and Jon Miller added 14 for the Blackhawks (5-2), who came away with 19 offensive rebounds. Evan Cook handed out nine assists and Calvin Berstler had nine boards for Cheney.
Joe Townsend scored a game-high 35 points, including eight in overtime, to lead Okanogan.
Post Falls 79, North Valleys (Nev.) 31: Luke Thoreson scored 17 points and Marcus Colbert added 15 points and four assists as the Trojans (6-0) finished 4-0 at the Wild West Shootout at Reno, Nev. Corey Koski had 12 points and Michael Hillman added 10 points and eight rebounds for the Trojans. Thoreson was named to the all-tournament team.
Priest River 65, Newport 51: The Spartans (3-5) made 10 3-pointers and beat Newport (5-2) in the Priest River Christmas Tournament title game. Austin Glazier scored 15 points, R.C. Akre had 11 and Dalton Sommer chipped in 10 for Priest River. Jake Wiley led Newport with 24 points.
Riverside 57, Cusick 33: The Rams (3-5) took control early and eased past the host Panthers (3-5). Jordan Wood scored 14 points and Tyler Axtell added 13 for the Rams.
Lake Roosevelt 64, Wellpinit 34: Jesse Adkins scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as the Raiders jumped ahead early and cruised past the Redskins (4-3) in the Raider Holiday Classic title game at Coulee Dam. Brodie Ford led Wellpinit with 12 points.
Odessa-Harrington 60, Soap Lake 31: Justin Hunt scored 14 points and Brett Larmer added 13 as the Titans (4-3) raced past the visiting Eagles. Odessa-Harrington outscored Soap Lake 23-4 in the second quarter.
Timberlake 60, Kellogg 57: Trevor Masterson scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds to guide the Tigers (5-2, 1-1) past the visiting Wildcats (6-1, 1-1) at Spirit Lake. Brian Connelly added 15 points, five rebounds and three blocks for Timberlake. Nick Serrano led Kellogg with 14 points.
Northwest Christian 58, Davenport 42: The Crusaders (8-0, 5-0) gained control early and eased past the host Gorillas (4-1, 3-1). Kwinn Hanson scored 18 points and Reuben Clark added 15 for Northwest Christian. Joey Gunning led Davenport with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
St. George’s 51, Kettle Falls 38: Will Tender scored 17 points to lead the Dragons (4-1, 2-0) past the visiting Bulldogs (1-6, 0-5). Karl Muelheims scored 10 points and Erik Muelheims added nine for St. George’s. Conner McKern led Kettle Falls with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Colfax 47, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 41: The Bulldogs (5-0, 3-0) built an early lead and held on to beat the host Broncos (3-5, 1-4). Brandon Gfeller scored 13 points and Jay Hart and Justin Berarducci added 12 apiece for the Bulldogs. Jake Dewald led the Broncos with 12 points.
Reardan 65, Springdale 51: Roy Walser led three players in double figures with 17 points and the Indians (2-3, 2-2) beat the visiting Chargers (3-3, 1-3). Trevor Peone had 15 points and Johnny Keiffer added 12 for Reardan. Deylin Peone scored 17 for Springdale.
Selkirk 44, Columbia 32: The host Rangers (4-5, 4-1) grabbed 18 offensive rebounds en route to a win over the Lions (1-6, 1-4) in Ione. Nick Gardner scored 17 points and Dominic Cain added 11 for Selkirk. Columbia was led by Dustin Wyborney’s 12 points.
Northport 58, Curlew 28: Jeremiah Johnson had 14 points, nine rebounds and nine assists as the Mustangs (8-1, 5-0) routed the visiting Cougars (1-7, 0-4). Josh Konkler added 12 points for Northport.

Pomeroy 60, Garfield-Palouse 58: Cole Mayfield’s runner with 12 seconds left gave the Pirates (3-4, 2-2) the win over the host Vikings (1-7, 1-3). Jesse Lopez had 17 points and six steals to lead Garfield-Palouse.
St. John-Endicott 55, Rosalia 50: Evan Jones scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Eagles (5-1, 4-0) past the host Spartans (4-2, 3-1). Dakota White added 12 points for St. John-Endicott. Craig Nelson led Rosalia with 11 points.
Colton 56, Tekoa-Oakesdale 44: Dustin Patchen scored 18 points and Jake Straughan and Josh Straughan added 14 each as the Wildcats (6-0, 5-0) beat the host Nighthawks (0-7, 0-4).
