Here’s the Dirt: Ciao Mambo makes changes

The closure of the Ciao Mambo restaurant in Hayden earlier this month has at least one upside: The company will use the savings and add a bar at the chain’s new Spokane location.

Glacier Restaurant Group spokeswoman Erica Coffman, based in Whitefish, Mont., said the company regretted closing the North Idaho location. That site, at 8166 N. Government Way, opened in 2008.

Plans are to have the bar operating in January in the downtown Spokane Ciao Mambo, which opened earlier this year, Coffman said.

Glacier operates three Ciao Mambo restaurants in Montana.
